Qualification
The qualifications required for the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Apprenticeship Recruitment are categorized as follows:

1. Graduate Apprentices (Engineering):

  • A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) with First Class awarded by a recognized statutory university in the relevant discipline.
  • A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) with First Class, granted by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline.
  • Graduate examination of professional bodies recognized by the State/Central Government as equivalent to the above.

2. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

  • A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) issued by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by the State Government in the relevant discipline.
  • A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) awarded by a university in the relevant discipline.
  • A Diploma in Engineering and Technology recognized by the State/Central Government as equivalent to the above.

3. Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:

  • A Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Humanities (such as BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA, etc.), Regular – Full time, issued by a Statutory or Deemed University in the relevant discipline. The degree must be UGC-approved.
