Physical Requirements for Bihar Police Constable Recruitment

Here are the detailed physical requirements for candidates applying for the Bihar Police Constable position:

Height Requirements

• General/BC (Male): Minimum 165 cm
• EBC (Male): Minimum 160 cm
• SC/ST (Male): Minimum 160 cm
• All Female Candidates: Minimum 155 cm

Chest Measurement (For Male Candidates Only)

• General/BC (Male): Minimum 81 cm (normal), 86 cm (expanded)
• EBC (Male): Minimum 81 cm (normal), 86 cm (expanded)
• SC/ST (Male): Minimum 79 cm (normal), 84 cm (expanded)

 There should be a minimum expansion of 5 cm in chest measurement.

Weight Requirements

• All Female Candidates: Minimum 48 kg

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

1. Running (Race)

   • Male: 1.6 km (within 6 minutes)
   • Female: 1 km (within 5 minutes)

2. Shot Put (Gola Fek)

   • Male: 16-pound shot put with minimum distance of 16 feet
   • Female: 12-pound shot put with minimum distance of 12 feet

3. High Jump

   • Male: Minimum 4 feet
   • Female: Minimum 3 feet
