Method of Selection

The selection process for the Deputy Engineer post at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) will involve two stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):

   • Weightage: 85%
   • The CBT will consist of two parts:
     • Part I: General Awareness (15 Marks) — Topics include logical reasoning, analytical skills, comprehension ability, basic numeracy, data interpretation, and general knowledge.
     • Part II: Technical/Trade Aptitude (70 Marks) — Subject-specific questions related to the candidate’s engineering discipline.
   • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
     • General/OBC/EWS: 35%
     • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%

2. Interview:

   • Weightage: 15%
   • Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:5 ratio based on CBT performance.

Final Selection:

The combined score of CBT (85%) and Interview (15%) will determine the final merit list.
